Selena Gomez está internada en hospital psiquiátrico

Selena Gomez está en el ojo del huracán, ya que se dio a conocer que está internada en un hospital psiquiátrico tras sufrir una crisis emocional.

De acuerdo a TMZ y El Universal, la cantante lleva semanas en estado depresivo por lo que su familia decidió internarla por primera vez a finales de septiembre, cuando también presentó un bajo nivel de glóbulos blancos en la sangre, efecto secundario que viven personas que han recibido un trasplante de riñón.

La ex estrella Disney fue dada de alta, pero a los pocos días regresó al Cedars-Sinai de Los Ángeles, California, donde los médicos aconsejaron que estuviera bajo vigilancia médica de forma permanente, ya que intentó arrancarse las vías intravenosas que tenía en el brazo.

«Había tenido un par de semanas complicadas y el ataque de pánico que sufrió en el hospital fue el punto de inflexión. Se dio cuenta de que necesitaba ayuda adicional para sus problemas emocionales. Está rodeada por toda su familia y tiene mucho apoyo. Se encuentra mejor y está recibiendo tratamiento en la Costa Este», señaló una fuente a People.

Aseguran que Selena Gomez está recibiendo terapia en el psiquiátrico para identificar los patrones de conducta que la llevan al borde de crisis nerviosas y emocionales. Hasta el momento, se desconoce cuánto tiempo pasará recluida la también actriz, quien a inicios de este año recurrió a ayuda especializada por dos semanas en Nueva York para combatir la depresión y la ansiedad.

«He tenido muchos problemas con la depresión y la ansiedad, he hablado mucho de ello, pero no es algo que sienta que vaya a superar. Creo que es una batalla a la que me voy a enfrentar el resto de mi vida, y eso me parece bien porque sé que me estoy escogiendo a mí misma por encima de todo lo demás», declaró a Harper’s Bazaar tras su tratamiento.
